OT/PT/TRANSPORTER FORUM

The OT/PT/Transporter Forum welcomes all conference registrants in the spirit of team building. An annual component of the conference, the Forum encourages an exchange between transporters and school occupational and physical therapists on topics of mutual concern. The Forum is co-chaired by Sue Shutrump, OTR/L, Trumbull County OH ESC and Charley Kennington, Director, Transportation Services, Region 4 ESC, Houston

One of three concurrent breakout sessions on Monday, March 10, the Forum is scheduled from 1 to 4:45 pm. The first two segments of the Forum will be announced in October.

The final segment of the Forum offers a chance for you to discuss with panelists a number of worst case scenarios you may encounter in preparing a transportation plan for students who use mobility devices. Get helpful advise and potential solutions to the situations described.

The OT/PT/Transporter Chat Room will be held on Sunday, March 9 from 5:30 to 6:30 pm. Facilitator: Jean Zimmerman, PT, West Palm Beach County SD and a co-facilitator to be announced.
