The OT/PT/Transporter Forum welcomes all conference registrants in the spirit of team building. An annual component of the conference, the Forum encourages an exchange between transporters and school occupational and physical therapists on topics of mutual concern. The Forum is co-chaired by Sue Shutrump, OTR/L, Trumbull County OH ESC and Charley Kennington, Director, Transportation Services, Region 4 ESC, Houston

Wheelchair Standards Update                                                  1:30 to 2:30 pm
Learn the latest evolutions in ANSI/RESNA wheelchair standards. These new and revised standards cover the full range of transit technology from the wheelchair and its seating system to the wheelchair tiedowns and occupant restraint systems. Hear not only what advancements have been made in the area of safe transportation of passengers who use wheelchairs, but how we can proceed to make the most effective use of this important work in the future.
